Our products are designed to bring quality and performance to your end appplication, under normal circumstances, we expect NO EXCHANGE, RETURN OR REFUND of any items purchased. However if you feel the need to return or exchange an item based on the guidelines below, we will gladly make it happen.
1. Requesting Return Authorizations
Return Authorization (RMA) Numbers may be obtained by written requet to info@eid.com.my. RMA numbers ensure that returned products will be properly credited to the Customer's account. Products returned without authorization numbers will be returned to the sender. please be prepared to provide related invoice information when requesting return authorizations.
2. Incorrect Product Shipped
EiD will promptly provide Returned Material Authorization Numbers for incorrect parts, see item 1. We request that you provide a copy of your original purchase order. Product must be returned with original packaging and labeling to help our investigation and processing. Your account will be credited when product returns are received and verified by our Receiving Department.
3. Failed Product
If you receive product that does not function properly, please contact info@eid.com.my and provide as much detail as possible about the nature of the problem. You will be requested to complete a Failure Analysis Form that provides detailed information regarding the failure.
Upon receipt of the goods, we will test the product(s) for the reported faults and if the goods are found to have a manufacturing fault Eid will be replaced/repaired the product(s) free of charge.
If fault is due to operator's error or mishandling, then the goods will be returned with a report of the findings, and the customer will be charged for the cost of repairing the goods (as per agreed).
4. Shipping Damage
If you receive damaged product with visible damage to external shipping containers, please report the damage to the carrier at the time of receipt. Please contact our Office with details of the damage, preferbly with photos showing the damages.
5. Return Requests due to Customer's Errors or Customer's Convenience
EiD will consider return requests, at our sole discretion and without obligation, due to Customer Error or Customer Convenience subject to the following restrictions:
a. Request must be made within 30 days of purchased.
b. Product must be unused and be in the Original Packaging.
c. EiD reserves the right to charge a re-stocking fees upto 25% of the goods value.
d. All goods must be returned at customer's cost.
e. All returns will be carefully inspected prior to restocking. Any product that is not suitable for restocking will be returned to the Customer without credit.
6. Software
We cannot accept returns of software once the licence key has been used.
7. Product Under Warranty
a. The warranty does not cover accessories on external port such as casing.
b. The warranty is not transferable, negotiable or assignable to a third party.
c. Invoices must be produced together with the equipment when seeking repair.
d. The warranty does not include transport, delivery or handling charges incurred in the transportation of the equipment/accessories to and from EiD Technology Sdn Bhd.
e. The warranty will be null and void in any of the followings events:
(i) If the damage on your product has been damaged caused by accident, hazard, flood, voltage fluctuation, faulty installation, act of God, misuse, negligency, corrosion, rusts or stain or causes othe than ordinary use; or
(ii) If your equipment is modified or tampered with or repaired by any person other than EiD Technology Sdn Bhd technicians or if the original identification marks have been removed from the set; or
(iii) If you failed to produce the invoice or the invoice is altered or defaced in any manner whatsoever.
